recordMyDesktop and HandBrake for Vimeo

I've decided to create some screencasts about my favourite XML WYSIWYG editor, Serna Free (by Syntext Software).

This is mostly to educate new users to of the program how to get the most out of this powerful WYSIWYG editor.

There was a first step that needed to happen before doing that though, and that was covering how you can use open source screen-casting tools and conversion utilities to get output that Vimeo can upload.

I've created a Vimeo screen-cast about using recordMyDesktop and converting the Ogg Vorbis output to h.264 using Handbrake.

This video will play best when you view it in full-screen mode (icon next to the HD symbol) and activate HD mode.

I hope it helps you do some screen-casts of your own on fedora.
