Open mobility 2010 in San Francisco

An evolution from our OSiM (Open Source in Mobile) USA

Open Mobility 2010 is an exhibition where you can find all you need (or all what you will need in the future!) to succeed in an open mobile “ecosystem”.

Indeed things are changing at an increasing pace in Mobile Application world and people from Open Mobility 2010 promise a new approach by not only demoing the latest and freshest apps in the “apps kitchen” but also organizing interactive conferences and allow us to hear from headline speakers from recognized companies that have created the Mobile Advertising and Marketing Industry like T-Mobile, Pandora, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Palm, Verizon, Gracenote, Warner Bros, MTV, AT&T and much others. Also will be present some of the most successful Silicon Valley startups, developers of this year’s must have apps. Actually we’ll be able to hear from the founders of Yelp, Digg, Qik, Zynga, Cooliris, Sokule, Mozes, Planet 9, etc., companies which “have earned their dollar through taking advantage of the rapidly changing ecosystem”.

“Open Mobility 2010 is about moving onwards and upwards” says the organizers. To demonstrate this, Open Mobility 2010 will be not a traditional presentation but a complete show. The aim is to allow “you to further question and get as much as you can from every headline speaker.” The two days of the exhibition will be consisting of Questions & Answers sessions, “in-depth brainstorms and unpanels”. Then there is a chance for us to really participate actively in the debates and have the answers we need about new apps and the knowing what the best strategy is to develop it for ourselves.

The exhibition’s aim is to show us how to take advantages of the move of Mobile Application market, in a different way than in traditional exhibitions: “we’re talking no sales pitches and no generic corporate slides”. Another potential interesting things in Open Mobility 2010 are the possibility to hear headliners of the show questioning each other in a head to head corporate interview and the active presence of the industry’s top analysts and consultants.

And of course, at the end of the show, you definitely won’t miss the big Open Mobility Party!
